More than 200 people came to the Historic Huntley grand opening celebration on May 19.  We were welcomed by Edward Batten, the Lee District representative to the Fairfax County Park Authority Board, and heard remarks by Sharon Bulova, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Jeffrey C. McKay, Lee District Supervisor, Tim Aiken, Legislative Director for Congressman Jim Moran, Barbara Ballentine, President of Friends of Historic Huntley and Kevin Munroe, Manager of Huntley Meadows Park.  Once the ribbon was cut, it was time to see Huntley in its fully-restored glory.
